Most of us would thought that our mobile service providers can block specific numbers, maybe some do, but most of them don't. So when you report harassment or life threatening calls, normally they will just warn the person who owns the number or worst will suggest you to change your number. Changing number might be hard to decide if you had that for a while and/or using it for business. That would be your last resort if the person calling you turned off his outgoing caller ID, cause even if there is a way to block a number it will still be impossible if you don't know what number to block. If you got their number, first thing that I would suggest specially if its life threatening call, report it to a police and service provider. But if you know that person and your just getting annoyed you can try to downloading an app that can block numbers. There are just couple of phones out there that has feature to block certain numbers like the Samsung Galaxy S II. See the steps below on how to add and remove numbers from Black List on SGS II  and other similar Android phones.

Adding numbers to Black List

1. Press Menu
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Call
4. Tap Call Rejection
5. Tap Blacklist
6. Tap Add
7. Enter Desired Number and Tap Save

Removing numbers from Black List

1. Press Menu
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap Call
4. Tap Call Settings
5. Tap Blacklist
6. Tap Auto Reject List
7. Select the Numbers you wish to remove
8. Tap Menu then Tap Delete
